Dwarka is a city in Gujarat. The legendary city was the dwelling of Lord Krishna and so this is an important religious destination for the Hindus. It also forms one of the 4 destinations in the Char Dham yatra with Badrinath, Puri and Rameshwaram. It lies in the westernmost part of India.
The Dwarakdhish Temple is the biggest draw for pilgrims in Dwaraka. “Bet Dwaraka†is a coastal site where many antiquities have been unearthed.
Jamnagar is the nearest airport at a distance of 137 km. Dwarka is also very well connected to most major cities by rail and road.
