Thrissur is a town in Kerala, widely considered its cultural capital. Trivandrum or Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala, is one of the prettiest cities in India. Clean and green, this is a city that has no need to aspire to any pretensions. Once an integral part of the Travancore kingdom, this city grew around the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, dedicated to the deity of the royal Travancore family.
