Trichy is a historical city in Tamil Nadu. Trichy is well-known for its temples – The Rockfort temple complex with many temples inside it, the Ranganathaswamy temple at Srirangam and Jambukeswarar temple at Thiruvnaikaval. You can get a beautiful view of the city from the top of the rock in Rockfort temple. Ranganathaswamy temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu in a sleeping posture. It has a very tall temple tower.
