Dalhousie is a popular town in the state of Himachal Pradesh. The hill station is named after Lord Dalhousie who established the town as a summer retreat. Narkanda is a town in Himachal Pradesh. It is a popular skiing resort in India. Not as well organized as the more popular Solang Nullah and Auli skiing resorts though. It is also a market town for the local apple and potato growers. Narkanda is famous for the Hatu Peak which has a Durga temple on top. It also has some lovely views of the Himalayas.
